Terrene Unbound, a trio composed of mezzo-soprano Noor Sandhu, clarinetist Eric Umble, and pianist Sophia Subbayya Vastek, performed an eclectic blend of spiritually inspired music that echoed throughout the church. The performance on Saturday, March 23 included works from Samuel Barber, Alexander Sciabin, Alan Hovhaness, and a commissioned work by Rex Isenberg.

Concert Series 3/22: Terrene Unbound
St. Charles Borromeo Concert Series – Saturday, March 22 at 7:00 pm (note new date)
On March 22, Terrene Unbound will perform at St. Charles. Terrene Unbound was formed in 2013 at the Manhattan School of Music. Their goal is to build global connections through music, as well as to fully enrich the lives of the younger generation. They are committed to using music as an agent of positive change in the international community through educational outreach, presentation, coaching and concerts for charitable organizations.
Tickets are $15 and will be sold after the Sunday masses and will also be sold at the door.

For Lent, take some time out of your busy schedule for prayer with Jesus at the Church:
Eucharistic Adoration: Monday-Friday from 9 am to noon – come by anytime in the morning for a few minutes or an hour of quiet prayer and meditation.
Taize Prayer Group: Mondays at 7:30 pm – ecumenical group meditation
