On Sunday, December 29, we will not celebrate a 11:15 AM Mass at St. Charles Borromeo. Fr. Gibino invites you to join him at the nearby Cathedral Basilica of St. James on December 29 at 11 AM for a Jubilee Mass for the beginning of the Jubilee Year.
Jubilee years happen every 25 years. The theme for Jubilee 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope,” and it will be a year of hope for a world suffering the impacts of war, ongoing effects of COVID-19 pandemic, and climate crisis. For more on the Jubilee Year see: https://www.iubilaeum2025.va/en.html.

Christmas Gift to the Parish

Christmas Flower Memorials
This Christmas season, we will decorate the church with due joyousness and memorialize loved ones with flowers. The flowers are a sign of our joy in the birth of Christ our Savior.
To memorialize a loved one with flowers for the Church: go to stcharlesbklyn.org/christmasflowers or use the envelopes available in the back of the church.

Catholic Charities / Custom House Christmas Toy Drive
Join in our 13th Annual St. Charles, Custom House, and Brooklyn Queens Catholic Charities toy drive.
Our Parish is one of four “super collection” sites for Brooklyn Queens Catholic Charities. All items collected from our parish are added to the donations that Custom House Restaurant patrons contribute to provide joy to children on Christmas morning.
You can donate toys, diapers, and baby layette items in the boxes at the back of the church. Donations will be on display at Custom House on Saturday, December 14 during the afternoon before being picked up by Catholic Charities for distribution during the week.
