Learn how truly Living the Eucharist can enrich your life
The Lenten Season will begin in a few weeks. Last year, we held a series of small discussion groups during the six weeks of Lent entitled “Awakening Faith”. This program sought to enrich our journey of faith by sharing our perspectives about the Church in prayer and honest acceptance. Over 75 people participated in the series. The program was so well-received that many of those participating asked that a similar program be offered again during this year’s Lenten season. We will build on the Awakening Faith experience this year with a discussion series that focuses on the Mass and the Eucharist.
You are invited to join your fellow parishioners in “LIVING the EUCHARIST”. The goal of the program is to help each participant experience the Mass in a more powerful and meaningful way – by getting to know, understand, and love Jesus more deeply through the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Small groups will meet once a week; several sessions will be offered throughout the week that can fit your schedule.
To effectively run the program, we are in need of 10 parishioners who would be willing to serve as co-facilitators – two facilitators for each group. The additional time commitment required for a facilitator over and above a regular participant will be very minimal. A brief orientation for all facilitators will be provided prior to the start of the program.
If you are interested in serving as a group facilitator or to participate in the program, please RSVP online here. We are grateful for your contributions of time and talent to help each other on our journey of faith at St. Charles.
